From Kidulthood to Adulthood

i read the last page of The Great Gatsby

even for a brief moment, i think for the first time in my life I enjoyed literature of a school assigned book.

Life

It was fun while it lasted :]

A phrase I want to use in the future

Marrakesh

Talking with a Belge hottie, speaking bunch of french, 1 on 1 conversation with Bougie about deep issues, wannabe Initial D downhill while its fucking raining, and late-night mah-jong

Marrakesh is on the menu next year again :]

The Last Visit

Will I be able to accept.  What my life became.  What I made of myself.

As i lay on my deathbed.

Or must I regret.  All the wrong choices.  That lead to undesired walks of life.

Imminent is the moment, before I meet again the forever darkness that bid me au revoir minutes before I was born on this Earth.

Nobody gives a damn whether you drive or u dont.  Honestly, it’s one of those things you are pushed into without you even knowing.  Another word for i guess would be peer pressure.  No verbal transaction required.  Your friends got cars.  You want one too.  The closest analogy i guess would be the Jansport backpack hype.

Today this senior was pushing his bike up hill when i talked to him.  He was ashamed because he felt that it was uncool for a senior to bike to school.  Tbh driving to school is not as cool as you think.  Your mom drives.  Your dad drives.  Even your fucking grampa.  5 billion people on this rotten planet drive.  Cool?.  I think y’all just extraordinarily fucking ordinary.

I had no time to hate, because

Emily Dickinson

I was asked to define the meaning of this two stanza poem.

And if any of you are familiar with Emily, then you would know that I don’t know what the hell she’s onto about.  I then painstakingly went over the poem word by word til I came across the word, love.  My brain froze.

What is love?

Tom from 500 days of Summer asked this question and he proposed that a solid answer doesn’t exist.  Genius. Whoever decided to incorporate that scene into the movie.  But as a skeptic, i see this as only a theory, a murderously enticing one.

What is love?

I don’t think I have ever experienced it.  ”Don’t you love your mom, your dad?”  I wish i did jk jk.  I guess love takes on different levels? Nah the sky’s the limit.

The media has an alluring theory as well.  Titanic.  Doesn’t this make you nod your heads?  Titanic is not based on a real story. But Eat Pray Love is.

I think that all these angles are in their own ways correct.  Perhaps the definition of love stands as what we imagine it to be.  For (Tom) love is something so great its incomprehensible .  For some Titanic portrays true love best.  In Eat Pray Love, true love can be found when you search hard enough.  Maybe what makes love so alluring to us is that we humans were given hands to mold it into the shape we desire.

Oh man i ended up analyzing the wrong subject.

P.s. This is all brainstorm - nothing solid

Giga Broser and Crazy Coopa

while I was listening to Broser’s lecture on absolute convergence I thought,” fucking crazy math teacher,”  and then i thought ”   fuck    , i understand what he’s going on about”

crazy

Today was disappointing.

Sometimes, at the end of the day, I feel empty when I lay on my bed trying to fall asleep. Its usually because i did not accomplish much.

Today was also pretty adventurous

But i was such a pussy.  Why where is my self-confidence.

To do Great Things

1/24/11 Today was a day of inspiration.  Of great inspiration.  and pure inspiration.

I have decided that i will not endeavor with all my heart to become a great, or a famous person,  but to endeavor with all my heart to revive the greatness in the human race.

En plein air

Monet was an outdoors painters as i have learned from wikipedia.  I clicked one of those reference words i guess you would call them (the blue highlighted, underlined words that refer you to another wiki site)

When Claude Monet referenced me to Claude Monet a picture of Claude Monet immediately popped up on the right side of the screen.  If you have ever seen a picture of old Claude Monet you would know he looks like a madman.  A respected madman.  In fact the 2nd thing that popped up in my head after madman was ‘holy shit this guy is Claude Monet’.

Claude Monet has the air of a madman, but with his paintbrush which is the medium to his quivering soul he produces majestic art.  And plus Claude Monet got nothin on Albert Einstein, he’s the real madman.
